A Year in the Parks

Between September 2021-2022, daily drawing in Oxford's University Parks allowed me to extend my practice of working in situ, exploring new media and ways of working. Drawing in all weathers, seasons and at all times of the day, these rapid sketches, taking anything from a few minutes to a couple of hours allowed a unique engagement with a familiar open space, with the trees and with park users. The drawings have since been exhibited and used in a number of talks and lectures about my drawing practice.
